Participant, South Eastern Piano Festival Columbia, South Carolina Summer 2006-2009
Was one of twenty participants chosen from over 500 international/national applicants to participate in a one week piano festival in Columbia, SC. Summer of 2006 was the youngest contestant to ever be admitted into the festival, (age 14). Summer of 2007 won honorable mention in the Arthur P. Fraiser International Concerto Competition and performed the Chopin Scherzo No.2, and Beethoven Concerto No. 1. Has been accepted upon CD auditions, (pre-screening) for four consecutive years.
First Place Winner of the American Fine Arts Festival New York City, NY Spring 2004
As winner of the American Fine Arts Festival, performed as a soloist at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall at age 12. Performed various Liszt-Schumann piano transcriptions.
Corcoran College of Art and Design Washington D.C., Summer 2007
Was accepted upon portfolio review by the Corcoran School of Art Admissions to participate in a two week long program in drawing and painting. Received professional training from Joey Manlapez, (current Corcoran faculty member), and Kathryn Freeman, a graduate of the Boston Museum School of Art. Worked from 9:00am-5:00pm and produced over ten pieces of work. Work was show-cased at the end of the program in the student gallery. Received two college credits.
Student, Levine School of Music Washington, D.C.1999-2006
Joined the honors program in 2001. Received training from Anna Ouspenskya, (2000-2004), at the Levine School of Music, and music theory and music composition training from Dr. Fransis McKay, (Peabody Conservatory of Music graduate). Composed several works for piano solo, including a major three part fantasy, (the daytime fantasy).

•2007 Neva Greenwood Student Composition 2nd Place Winner, Awarded by the Friday Morning Music Club, (Washington, D.C.)
•2006 MTNA Maryland State 1st place winner for “Gli Ucceli Nella Mattina” ( The Birds in the Morning, 1st mvt. of The Daytime Fantasy). Went on to receive 2nd place in the North Eastern Division
•master classes with Andrew Simpson, (artist in residence at Catholic University), and Robert Gibson, (Composition Professor at University of Maryland) in 2005 and 2006, respectively.

•May 2006 was chosen to perform in the Rising Star Series at the Alden Theatre in McLean, VA performed Chopin 1st Ballade, and works by Debussy

•Has studied with Nancy Breth, Dr. Marjorie Lee, Dr. Michael Adcock, and Van Cliburn Silver Medalist Santiago Rodriguez, (former UMD piano chairman).
Assistant Coach For Boys Soccer Grades K-2, MSI Bethesda, MD, Fall 2004- Spring 2007
Volunteer services were provided upon request of Luke Schneider, coach of the team. Promoted team work, and discipline. Worked with a variety of personality types, and some boys who were mildly autistic. Taught basic soccer skills, (i.e. passing, kicking, etc.).
Besides Piano, I am a very serious art student, and have produced over 100 works of art, (painting, drawing, multi-media, etc.). I showcase my work yearly at my high school's Festival of the Arts. I applied also to the Young Arts competition this october and am waiting to hear back to see if I won/got anything.
