Harvard, my parents even laughed at the idea of me applying there. They have the rep of being more random w/ their decisions than other top notch schools, but no top school is sooooo random that they would take someone w/ a 3.7 gpa. I really liked the boston area though, shoulda applied to some school there.

Princeton's been my dream school since first grade, but a trip to Harvard this summer made me fall in love with Cambridge. My uncle and his family live in Andover, which is pretty close, so I'd have a support system. Academically, I don't need to explain why I'd go here. I honestly don't think I have a shot... but who knows? Hoping for the best.

Very sad I was waitlisted :( Also kinda surprised after seeing all my other results + H legacy + H research + New England + Engineering...meh oh well. I will be fighting for my spot on the waitlist very aggressively.

Please note that I gave all my SATs (Including Subject Tests) when I was suffering from tuberculosis and my principal has issued a certificate stating so. Even my proctor has written to the University confirming that I could not sit for the full stipulated time.

I spent 5 days in Cambridge this year when I participated in the Harvard Forensics Tournament and I fell in love with the city and the campus itself. Boston is pretty fab too. It's THE college experience and I can just picture myself meandering about Harvard Yard next year.
