I really loved American's campus and it only takes 20 minutes by Metro to reach the National Mall. Their scholarship offer helped lessen the impact of its high tuition, so I'm thinking strongly about this option.

Waitlisting quite odd since I have already gotten into much better schools and my older sister had gone there and is on the alumni board. Apparently I didn't show adequate enough interest in the school since I didn't go on a tour nor make any enquiries to the admissions departement, even though I visited with my sister who works at the admissions departement. As a note to future applicants, I would suggest you do the above.
