wow, this is quite odd since American was supposed to be my saftey. Apparently I didn't show adequate enough interest in the school since I didn't go on a tour nor make any enquiries to the admissions departement, even though I visited with my sister who has worked at the admissions departement and is on the alumni board. As a note to future applicants, I would suggest you do the above.
