I did a summer program here, but those dont matter, there just to make money and dont impress anybody i realized like i thought they would

I applied to the RISD-BROWN dual degree program. I actually really like Brown, so even if I don't get into the dual program I'd like to go to Brown. It's my second choice, mostly tied with CMU.

I had a long history in computer science, and I intend to concentrate in computer science. From what I've read, Brown has been looking for applicants interested in computer science, so this likely helped me substantially.

Top notch writing program and good political science major, and amazing, beautiful campus. Now possibly my favorite. Update: an admissions officer said the acceptance rate this year will be 8-9%! WTF? FML! Other angry acronyms!; update2- not alot of time to wait now. I'm excited, and afraid. I hope this little spark of hope doesn't get squashed.

Was deciding between Brown and Carnegie Mellon University. They were tied for #1 (along with MIT) on my list, and this was a very hard decision. However, I did not choose Brown for the name.

2400 definitely doesn't make up for nonperfect grades and mediocre ECs, I kind of wish I applied ED here though. Choosing between Harvard and Brown early on was tough, thought I had a chance in the RD round, but Brown would have probably deferred my ass now that I come to think of it
