I got a yellow card indicating that my admission is complete too, but I don't think I'm a considered student by the university staff, just comparing grades with other people. The yellow cards are what they are: they show that they have everything from you in terms of admission requirements.

yellow cards (indicating that your application is complete) started being received around February 15, 2009. Not exactly clear, but likely letters in general can come at any point, and not getting a likely letter certainly doesn't indicate you aren't accepted.
I think likely letters get sent to certain students that Vandy is afraid will defect to other schools who give their admissions decisions earlier. This lets students know that they are probably accepted and that perhaps they should wait to make their decision, rather than jumping the gun on schools who give their info out early.

Curious about the "likely letters" that have been posted. When did they start going out. I got one from UNC in December and was hoping for one from Vandy. Anxious.
