I really wanted to go out of state. That's what it boiled down to. Not that UT isn't a good school, but I've lived in Texas all my life.

Didn't even apply to UT first time around (I didn't want to write the essays) but decided to transfer here from Tulane. Best decision ever, I had a great time and now I'm going to a great med school (UCSF).
