I like this place, solid academics, great atmosphere and great social scene, but not enough that i'd be willing to dish out $50,000 a yr. Californias too expensive and while the academics are better than pitt, they arent that much better for science thats its worth 200K.

USC's School of Cinematic Arts draws me in. I don't know what I'll do if somehow I get accepted here and MIT... Side note: I hear USC's film programs are significantly more selective than general studies. I'll put it in perspective: they accept 50 students per year. No, not 50 percent. 50.

i have a ridiculous amount of extracurricular activities, mainly charities, and some clubs at school. i am president of two of them, on the executive boards of two more, and just a member of another four. i spend roughly sixteen hours a week on charity and extracurricular activities.

I didn't get into honors, I didn't get into the Business Scholars program, and they gave me crappy financial aid, when tuition is so high already. It's also hard to change majors, and Marshall doesn't really offer a broad liberal arts education.
