A close second to Tufts. Absolutely wonderful academic environment -- like a libeal arts school with university elements. Very nice! I wish I could afford it :(

I realize that my GPA and class rank are extremely low. It's due to a diagnosis of juvenile myoclonic epilepsy that I received during my freshman year. The resultant depression, medication trials and seizures destroyed my GPA due to two bad years. However, in my junior year, I won our state championship in competitive essay writing, and went on to qualify for our state debate tournament. I'm very active in academic and political clubs and am a Big Sister with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program; I currently mentor a child considered 'at risk' by the state of Texas. I interviewed at Brandeis and I hope with all my heart that I get in.
