I'm not sure what I count as. My sister was offered a full scholarship twice from UMich, one of 8 for undergrad in 2003, and then again for med school in 2007. I lived in Michigan and have done some programs with the university before.

My financial back-up ($11,500 for my first year (Tradition + Regents) and $10,000 for every year after that). It's far too big for my taste, though. EDIT: Visited and found that it wasn't as bad as I thought, but I definitely can't picture myself happy there. They expect me to take out $5,500 in loans in each year. That's not bad, but see previous notes.

deferred same bad app as duke, only this time i dont give a shit. Realize though people who read this, these websites dont look at the things that acutally matter for getting into the ivies and other bad ass schools like how you fit in, what you can contribute, who reads your application, your rec letters which are more important your essays, how much interest you show in the school, what kind of fit you arein, your stats only get you past the first cut so take all this stuff w/ a grain of salt.

Safety. Definitely wouldn't mind going here. I'm sometimes wary of huge state schools but.. whatever. I might be able to solve this problem with their residential colleges offerings!
