last minute additon, overall not very high on my list. I was accepted early action with scholarship offer of 15,000 annually (which is great but doesn't cover half the expense.)

Not surprised about acceptance, but very surprised by the scholarship money because I wasn't expecting any. Tulane's my 3rd or so choice after Chicago and Hopkins, so I will definitely go here if it's cheaper than LA/Berkeley (and if my parents stop bribing me to go to school closer to home). I love the school's programs and like the community, so yeah :)

Received letter of acceptance, did not expect to receive scholarship. Extremely happy, because with need-based aid, it would most likely be full-tuition for me!

Dream School .. a bit of a reach but I do have extenuating circumstance for my grades was very sick one year of highschool ... my GPA should be a 3.7 unweighted

Really awesome school, it's a gem. The teachers were awesome, the students seemed really happy, the campus was beautiful, New Orleans is way cool, they just didn't have the music program I was looking for. Damn.
