I honestly have no special insight into Ohio State admissions. What I can do is keep working on improving the prediction algorithm. Seen in that regard, the algorithm's output is an expression of my opinion of your chances. People who have applied to Ohio State probably have a much better idea than I. Good luck!

Yeah that's kind of what i figured. since i don't really have any idea of my chances, what do you honestly think my shot is?

Hi Drew,

We have few reported rejections, and many reported acceptances, so this limits our predictive ability here. We are working on ways to improve the way that we represent this. At a school with so much imbalance between acceptances and rejections such as this, "accuracy" clearly is not a great measure. So I agree that your chances are not as clearcut as the model currently states. Sorry for this.
