@srabdhawa1: I heard decisions come out 4/1. How hard is it to get into the engineering school at jhu?

Damn

I see this hasnt been touched in a while, i guess ill restart it cuz i think j-hop decisions come out end of next wk if they follow the precedence theyve set.

3-15-10: More bad news, my counselor called my regional officer last wk and she said theres a 50% increase in bio/pre med apps this yr, which is crazy. The tone she said it and the fact that she told my counselor basically means i wont get in. Dissapointing for sure, if you believe this site i had a better than 50% chance, im basically accepting i have to go to my state school and then transfer next yr, there was a lot of stuff i left out on my apps i shouldnt have and i shoulda had my counselor explain a drop in my grades for 2 classes waay sooner to make a difference.

The Bs might hurt you, but you definitely have a lot of otherthings going for you. It'll be a toss up. I know the average GPA is a 3.73, but someone's GPA has to be at the bottom of the list- below the 3.57. So even if you have the Bs, I don't think it'll automatically deny you. It'll certainly make it tougher, but your SATs help, as well as your leadership, research accomplishments, and summer counseling. Good luck!

And to everyone else- legacies help extremely. I have no such connections, but to those of you who do- be thankful.
