the typical path that a person takes if they're accepted to a satellite campus but not University Park is that they'll spend a year or two at the satellite then transfer to main.

PSU itself actually advertises the "2+2" path in which you do the 2 years at satellite then transfer and do the remaining 2 at main.

so if a person gets accepted into one of the branches, would it be possible to get into Penn State right after Freshman year?
